Cherry Alien OG Strain Review: A Deep Dive into Flavor and Effects
Cannabis is known for its diverse strains, each with its own unique flavor profiles and effects. One strain that has gained attention in the cannabis community is Cherry Alien OG. A hybrid strain that boasts a distinctive lineage and a distinctive palate, Cherry Alien OG has been praised for both its aroma and the effects it imparts. In this comprehensive review, we will take an in-depth look at this intriguing strain.
Origin and Genetics
Cherry Alien OG is primarily a hybrid strain, combining genetics from the sought-after strains Cherry Pie and Alien OG. Cherry Pie is known for its sweet cherry and earthy aroma, while Alien OG offers a more intense cerebral effect with citrus and pine notes. The combination of these two powerhouse strains gives Cherry Alien OG a well-rounded experience characterized by both flavor and potency.
This strain typically showcases a balanced THC content, often ranging from 20% to 25%, depending on the grower, with a CBD level often between 0.5% and 1%. Such a THC level suggests a strain that is potent and needs to be approached with some caution.
Appearance
Upon inspecting Cherry Alien OG, you will be captivated by its striking appearance. The buds are typically dense and large, covered in a thick layer of trichomes that promote its potency. The flowers burst with vibrant colors, showcasing an array of greens mingling with rich purples and fiery orange hairs. The visual appeal is enough to entice any cannabis enthusiast, making it a popular choice among connoisseurs.
Aroma and Flavor Profile
Cherry Alien OG offers a delightful and distinct aroma that sets it apart from many other strains. As soon as you open the packaging, you are greeted with a sweet, fruity scent reminiscent of ripe cherries. This sweet fragrance is accompanied by hints of earthiness and an undertone of pine which can be traced back to its Alien OG lineage.
When it comes to flavor, Cherry Alien OG continues to impress. Upon the first inhale, the delectable cherry flavor shines through, providing a sweet and smooth smoking experience. The flavor journey progresses as the smoke expands in the lungs, revealing subtle notes of citrus and a woody finish. The overall taste is satisfying, making it a strain that can be enjoyed repeatedly without quickly becoming monotonous.
